we have a stock of materials with different valuation classes and moving average price. The MAP is of course being adapted when a PO is created but, the initial price when the material is created, is 0,01
What I noticed (and got confirmation) is that when the PO was created and the material changed price, after GI (mvt 261) the price remained but when we performed a reversal (Mvt 262) the material returned to its original MAP from before GI, which was 0,01 heavily impacting the stock value!!
is there a way we can change the initial price of the material without having this impact when performing mvt 262? from what i understood and found as info, MB1B with Mvt 501 and/or transactions MR21 and MR22 are the methods used to change the MAP: what is the pros and cons of both? is there a better way to do that?
