When Previous period 10 (Jan) was still open on Feb 1st with Current period 11 (Feb) not open yet - System did not allow user to settle Consignments in MRKO. The same issue in the following month. It gave the following error - (Refer to attachment - Screen shot 1)
However in March when both Previous period 11 (Feb) & Current Period 12 (March) were open, user entered posting date as 02/28/2014 it posted with posting date of 03/04/2014. User was ok with last month but this month is going to be our Fiscal Year end and if user needs to do settlements for any reason during April (before we close the FISCALYEAR/MONTH) they wouldn't want those postings to go into New Fiscal year (April 2014)
Though I read on blogs that the system doesn't allow with posting date in previous period, I see that user was able to do such postings in the past up until December 2013. Wondering if this has to do anything with the change we had last year switchingfrom Calendar year to Fiscal year because this issue only started when trying to do postings from January onwards.
