I see a new funtionality that is used for Mass Upload in MM17 . This makes it so convenient and easwy of us to Upload the files . However does anyone know How I can activate the background Processing for the same with this feature
In a recent upgrade, SAP has provided options for “Import Data from File” and “Import Data from Buffer” for SAP transaction code mm17 .
When using transaction mm17 earlier this week, we noticed that the “Execute in Background” and the “Save in Background” options are grayed-out. Instead, we must execute in foreground mode using the “Save” menu option.
Can you enable background processing with the file import option? (It would be unfortunate if the use of the file import functionality prevents the use of background processing, but that may be the case.)
Note—The “Background processing” menu option is active from the main screen, but it bypasses the new “Import Data from File” functionality. We wish to choose one or both background processing options after uploading the file, as shown in the later screen (above).
