Dear SAP experts,
We are in ECC 6 EHP 7 and we're evaluating the funcitonality of valuated stock-in-transit as explained in SAP library in Valuated Stock in Transit - Managing Special Stocks (MM-IM) - SAP Library
We're interesting with this because for common STO, we will only have accounting document during good issue while during good receipt there is no more accounting document. We have tried as per the pre-requisite shown by SAP library and especially good documentation in SDN in this link Valuated Stock in Transit - ERP SCM - SCN Wiki . My scenario is transfer of title during GR which is slightly different with the example, but by combining the information from the library i manage to generate the correct documents (GI with mov type 68A, and with VLPOD I generate doc with mov type 68I).
So far so good, but one thing that troubles me is that somehow the condition tab in the STO is missing, so I cannot input any delivery cost in that. After searching a while I found out that the free item indicator in item overview and field 'Inv Receipt' in tab 'Invoice' in item detail is unticked. I then change it (untick free item and tick invoice), and condition re-appear. I manage to input condition and hit enter and the condition tab disappear again.
I am pretty sure that this is not happening due to the existing enhancement from our side, so I was wondering whether this is standard behaviour from SAP? If that so, how to handle delivery cost in this 'Valuated stock in transit'? Is using shipment cost the only way?
Appreciate any input on this matter
Best regards,
John
