I am an FI person trying to write a batch aging report. The report gets all batches with quantities and determines how old the batch is. Based on this, we write down the inventory (old inventory is not as valuable as new).
The issue I have is that business wants me to also consider Special Stock batches - specifically, consignment batches. I have the additional tables to read (MSKU, MKOL, MSLB).
I also see table MSKA - Sales Order STock. We don't have much, but there are some entries in this table. My question is, why or how is data in this table? WHen I look at one of the sales orders from this table, I see that the sales order has been delivered and invoiced. I think I do NOT want to consider this batch inventory since it is already gone.
So again, how/when/why is this table updated and does it ever clear to a history table when it's delivered?
