Hello Experts,
I am looking for a "SAP standard way" of doing this process. Handling Unit Management has been configured and is already being used.
Current Scenario:
We use Handling Units already during "production".
Material Quantity~: 150 KG (simplified example. In reality, we talking about tons)
Packaging instructions: Pallet (100 KG) -> Boxes (10 KG) -> Actual Material
Using Transaction, COWBPACK, the system will automatically propose a hierarchy based on the packaging instructions:
- 1 Pallet (100 KG) and 10 Boxes
- 1 Pallet (50 GK) and 5 Boxes
There can be cases that there is more material than originally planned. In this case, we want to put additional Box(es) on the existing 2nd Pallet (because it is a partial pallet).
If I just redo COWBPACK, the system will create one additional pallet with one BOX. But this is not what I want.
How can I create a new Handling Unit for a new Box and assign it to an existing Pallet?
My current approach is to create a new Pallet with one Box and than re-pack the Box to the partial Pallet (2nd Pallet). However, this is far from a good approach...
Can you help me out?
Thanks for reading!
